1. Can I download DeskAway and use it on my own servers?
DeskAway cannot be locally hosted. It is an online service that we provide we take care of the hosting so you don't have to worry about technicalities and hosting.

2. How secure is DeskAway?

3. Can we create permissions so that clients can log in to their own projects to check status, retrieve documents, etc?
Yes. DeskAway is completely permission based. Firstly, only people who are within a project can access the particular project. Others will not know about the project when they log in. Secondly, there is a user type called "Limited User" (others are Regular and Super) which has limited permissions and ideal for clients - they cannot add a project or add milestones. They will be able to login and add tasks, mark tasks as done, add comments, messages, files and docs etc.

1. Do I have to sign a contract after I signup?
No. DeskAway is a pay-as-you-go service. There is no long term contract on your part. You simply pay monthly or yearly. You can cancel anytime and we will stop your recurring payment from the next month onwards.

2. What types of payment do you accept?
Currently, we accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We do not accept PayPal. At this time we only accept payments online so we will not be able to accept a P.O., invoice you, or take an order over the phone.

3. Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan at any time?
Yes. You need to log in to your DeskAway account (as an Account Owner), go to the "Settings" tab, select "Account Information" and click on the "I want to change this Plan" button. On the next page select your location - International or India. Check out the list of plans and select the plan you wish to change to and follow the payment instructions.

1. Who is DeskAway for?
DeskAway is for teams collaborating on projects/ activities. This could be small to medium businesses, organizations, or groups within large enterprises. Though we feel that DeskAway can be ideally used by creative and technology companies, we have clients in manufacturing, hotel management and HR.

2. What exactly do I need to get/ use DeskAway?
Its simple - all you need is a web browser (IE/ Firefox/ Mozilla etc), an Internet connection (preferably high-speed). No need to download or install anything.

3. How much does DeskAway cost?
