A Milestone is a marker or a significant development point within a Project. Task Lists, Issues & Time Sheets can be added to a Milestone, to ensure that the Milestone reaches successful completion. Milestones are an excellent way to group your Task List & Tasks.

Here is a simple relationship of how all this ties in together:
PROJECT -> MILESTONE -> TASK LIST/ ISSUES/ TIME LOG

• Display Milestone completion marker (the green bar you see on the right)
• View Milestone Project Timelines under Reports
• Track Milestone status and break-up of time for each milestone (pie charts)
• Export Milestone Progress Report to a spreadsheet
• Automatically close a Milestone if everything under it is complete
