What? DeskAway, is a web-based project collaboration service that provides teams a central location to easily organize, manage and track their projects.

When? Launched in late 2007. Roll-out updates once a month. See our Journey 2008 and 2009.

Where? Mumbai, India.

Who? brought to you by Synage Software Pvt. Ltd., a former web design and development company. Founded in 2005 by entrepreneurs Sahil Parikh & Sitanshi Parikh, Synage has transformed itself into a SaaS company in 2007.

Why? Managing projects and work via email is just so old-school. How do you keep track of tasks, issues, files, timesheets & feedback via email? How much work is still yet to be completed? Who is working on what? Where is all the communication related to this project? Is it done yet? What's holding the project back?

So What? We believe that we have something unique to bring to this industry - an online service that is simple to use, feature-rich, and affordable, backed by responsive and personalized support (customer service generally sucks today!).
